I wonder how Lila is doing? It’s been a while since she went off to the monastery. She strikes me as the sort of person who wouldn’t be happy there for more than a handful of years. Maybe i’m wrong.

Syke: We wonder, too, and we hope we hear from Lila again someday. Pooky thinks you might be wrong, though. She’s one of the few people involved in this site who got to hang out with Lila in person as well as online, so she got to see some sides of Lila that haven’t been mentioned a lot on this site. Pooky says that she feels that life in a zen monastery could be such a perfect fit for Lila that she might just never leave. We like to think that Lila’s found that kind of perfect fit for herself, but we still hope we’ll hear from her!

So maybe i’m wrong.

May not be relevent, but the main news headline here in England at the moment is of a Train Crash in belgium. 18 dead. I know it’s unlikly but i hope no-one from Guttergaunt was any where near that crash.
